Kristi Shaw

Hi!  My name is Kristi Shaw. I am the Owner/Coach at Advanced Cheer All Starz. I started the program in 2000 with two things in mind. First, to grow the awareness of the sport and second, to have the opportunity to coach my own two daughters.  My ACC journey has allowed me to become such an intricate part of so many athlete’s lives and for this I am forever grateful.

My degree is in Motivational Psychology with an emphasis in health and wellness. My coaching philosophy is as follows:  Task (teaching fundamental sound skill sets) + Interpersonal communication (meeting my athletes from the heart) = Optimum Results (SUCCESS).  ACC athletes that have a desire to learn and grow are my favorite types of students to coach!

On a daily basis you can find me at Cowley College where I am the Vice President of Student Affairs. I have worked at Cowley for 27 years and have had amazing athletes continue their passion in the sport by cheering at Cowley College & or D1, D2 colleges. I am an advocate for helping student athletes find their strengths, purpose and passion. I do believe it takes a village to raise our children & I am very proud to be an intricate part of the village.

On a personal note, I couldn’t have built my success without my late husband of 25 years, Brian Shaw. Brian blessed me with my oldest daughter, Halston Sawyer, who is married to our amazing son- in- law Dr. Sam Sawyer, along with our youngest daughter Hadlea Renee Shaw. They truly have been my support system through the good the bad and the ugly and I love them with all my heart and soul!  I must also share that I love my fur baby Frenchy  “Cubby”  and my gorgeous grand dogs-Thor, Wrigley Thomas and Steele!

Thank you for supporting ACC and we hope to see you soon!
Cheers-
Coach Kristi

Savanna Terrell

Hello! My name is Savanna. I am 18 years old and I am from Ponca City, OK. I grew up dancing and tumbling in my grandma's studio. One of my first memories is being up at the studio with my family. As I got older I started to help with the tumbling and dance classes. In eighth and ninth grade I was on my high school cheer teams. My first year of doing competitive cheerleading with ACC was in 2016. I started as a fill in for Royalz. I came back my senior year in the same way I started but this time as a fill in on Senior Platinum. I was so happy when my mom came up to me and asked if I wanted to do it for the rest of the season. The first time I walked into the gym I was nervous but once I stepped on the mat, I felt like I was part of the family. I graduated this year from epic charter schools. I was with epic my sophomore year through my senior year. I am excited to get the opportunity to coach these talented athletes and hopefully get some more titles under our belt

Ashtin Graham

My name is Ashtin Graham. I am 28 years old. I have an eight year old son Ayden. I am not only the cheerleading coach for Advanced Cheer Crew, but I am also the coach for the Ponca city Junior High School cheerleading team. If I am not coaching you will find me at Legacy Signs, where I am the lead production manager. I cheered for 17 years, starting at the age of 4. I cheered at Advanced Cheer Crew, and also cheered throughout my  junior high and high school years at Ponca City. I was selected in 2014 to be the 6A Oklahoma Allstate cheerleader. After I graduated high school in 2014 I went on to cheer at NOC in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. I enjoy spending my time in the cheer gym, hanging out with friends, attending all of Ayden's sporting events, and traveling with my family.  There is something about walking in that cheer gym, that just puts a smile on my face. The love I have for cheerleading is endless. Thank you all for allowing me to coach your child, and lead them to success!

Alissa Sheppard

My name is Alissa Sheppard. A native of Wichita, I participated in Cheerleading throughout middle and high school and received a cheer scholarship to Southwestern College. I coached cheer in Winfield, Kansas for many years. I am the current Director of Cheer and Dance at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas.  I have my Master’s in Organizational Leadership and am currently working on my Doctorate in Education. Currently, I am an active cheer mom at ACC.  My daughter Ava and Jayden are both on competitive teams.  I am looking forward to lending my skills and expertise to our ACC family.

Jennie Willard

My name is Jennie Willard and I am the office manager here at ACC. I am also a Special Education teacher at South Haven Elementary where I work with PreK to 8th-grade students. I have two grown children, Alex (27) and Tia (25). Tia started cheering for ACC when she was 6 years old.  I started helping Kristi with the gym a few years later. Tia continued to cheer with ACC all throughout school until she graduated from high school. She then cheered at KState for four years. She graduated from athletic training in 2021. Alex graduated from Pittsburg State University in 2021 and is a manufacturing engineer. I stayed at the gym helping Kristi because, after years of watching Kristi and the other coaches develop skills in the athletes that proceed long past their cheerleading career, I just cannot leave.  I enjoy watching the cheerleaders grow year after year and watching them turn into successful people on and off the mat.
